An Amendment was filed by Park Trust, and became effective February 2007, that increased the Transfer Fee to $1,500. The fee takes place at closing with all of the other costs and as such only impacts those that are buying. Taking into consideration the homes in our development, the fee ends up only being 0.3% of a $500,000 sale price.

We do not have the option to choose not to enforce it. In light of this development we have contacted several Real Estate agents, Closing Attorneys, and the staff at the Sales Center to ensure that they are aware of the Transfer Fee.
